To see the sun with different eyes
Usually the solar thermal heating for potable water is installed on the roof of a house. The solar system consists of two circulatory systems. The first one is circulating thermally through the solar cell and through a heat exchanger that is included in the reservoir. The second circulatory system is the potable water and will be conducted directly from the cold water pipe to the warm water reservoir. In there, the water gets heated up by the heat exchanger and forwarded as hot water into the hot water pipe.
The system with two separate circulatory systems has the advantage that potable water is not going through the solar cells. Like this it will not get boiled. Furthermore there is no more danger that potable water is staying too long in the warm water reservoir.
Another advantage is that the water circulating in the circulatory system heat exchanger-solar cell gets mixed with anticorrosive. Like this, the endurance of the solar system increases enormously
